RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is ‘cursing’ the judiciary and the army, while Shehbaz Sharif is trying to please them.
“Nawaz is busy cursing and abusing the army and the judiciary, while on the other hand, Shehbaz is busy trying to please them. I know how to deal with the two and PTI will outscore all parties in elections 2018,” Imran said while speaking to party workers in Rawalpindi.
Continuing his jabs at PML-N leaders, Imran said that the Sharif family ‘steals public resources and flees the country’. He also claimed that the Punjab government only aimed to ‘make money’ via Metro projects, while he added that if PTI was ruling Punjab, the party would prioritise education and health over Metros.
Referring to the general elections 2018, Imran said that ‘he has been waiting for this match for 22 years’. “I am a captain and I know how to compete. In elections 2018, PTI will overpower all other political parties and put an end to the rule of corrupt PML-N and PPP,” he said.
